Liquid Processing
Liquids such as coffee, smoothies and juice can be freeze dried quickly and then easily reconstituted for consumption.
Processing any liquid will require you to precisely control tray temperature. Depending on the consistency of the liquid, its TDS and the melting point, you may find that you need the ability to cool the shelves during drying. If you do not have the ability to maintain product temperature by regulating the shelves at negative temperatures, as the product is drying, you could end up with collapse and loose your products efficacy, denature it, or worse have complete collapse to where you cannot reconstiute your powder when needed. This is a common mistake made with human conumable products where quantity is chosen over quality. Make sure to know your products drying requirements before using a machine that only uses electric heaters as the heating method.
